  From beginning to end, Andy did a fantastic job.  Extremely professional, he took his time to review all the damage in my unit and then prepared a detailed estimate for repairs.  I really appreciated this vs receiving a lump sum estimate that you have no idea what is included.  The workers were organized, cleaned up after, and were very attentive to detail as well.   I had heartbreaking water damage from a slow leaking old toilet, then the Bad Kitty wrestled with the hose behind the washer and caused further water damage to the vinyl flooring!   Andy Worrel came out to do the inspection for our damaged wall in our industrial building and I was impressed with his knowledge, professional attitude, and was very nice as well.   On the week of March 18th James came to my condo to assess our situation. As soon as I let him in I felt an instant ease. As we did the walk through I was telling him how badly things were going, he spoke to me with such kindness and every single one of his responses made me feel validated. He was the first person, other than Andy, to make me feel like my family and I actually matter in this chaos. Before he left he reassured me that the team that would be coming to take all of our stuff would make me feel the same way and boy was he correct. On March 25th Giuseppe, Lindsay and Carlos came, I was one week out from leaving on a family vacation and all my stuff was about to be removed. To say I was stressed and sad is an understatement, I was practically in tears before they got started and Giuseppe reassured me that they will do whatever it takes to make this process as smooth and stress free as possible. I literally couldn’t have asked for better humans to come into my home. I felt like I’ve know them for years, as they worked effortlessly they also brought so much joy. We laughed a lot, which was wonderful and my daughters loved them too. My little one was enamored by Lindsay and kept telling me how much she likes her. Carlos was such a joy to be around when handling all my Star Wars stuff, I got to nerd out about my lightsaber while he gave me tips on how to yield it better. Last but not least Giuseppe, what an incredible human, I felt like I’ve know him for years. Conversation came so naturally and he just brought so much comfort to such a crappy situation. I know this is a long review but I didn’t know how to express my gratitude without being so transparent. Whoever does your hiring should also get some kudos because 5 employees from your company have been in my life, my home and around my family and each and every one of them have been exceptional. How Long Will Flood Damage Repair Take To Complete?

The time that water damage repairs take to complete will depend on the time it takes for the material affected to dry up. A safe time to assume is 72 hours on an average basis for 1 room to be dried out and ready for reconstruction followed by 1-2 weeks for the actual water damage repairs.

We understand that most property owners just want life to go back to normal after a disaster, but every repair project will vary depending on the complexity of the damage and the building materials affected. In some cases, the full extent of the problem and extends further than the visual water damage once walls are removed and mold is found.

If the house was built before 1985, then asbestos testing must be done before any walls are opened up for drying. After testing, results take around 24-48 hours to receive. If results come back negative, then a restoration company like Allied Restoration can start to dry the water damaged property immediately. However, If the testing results come back positive, then an abatement company (specialized license to remove asbestos) has to be referred in and then they will perform the work required to dry out the property.

After the water damaged property is dried out, the restoration contractor can begin repair work.
